Product Description
Two putter shapes, one considered material language
The Links Heritage Tidelands Leather & Shearling Putter Cover Collection is designed as a coordinated answer to two common putting profiles. The Blade Cover uses a low horizontal silhouette with a rounded toe chamber and a deeper heel-side entry, while the Mallet Cover uses a compact, rounded rectangular profile sized for a smaller modern mallet. Both covers are deliberately soft, unbulky and single-cavity by design: no exterior pockets, no zippers, no handles and no visual clutter.
A misty sea-glass-blue leather exterior provides the collection’s fresh vintage character. Warm ivory shearling appears at the entry and lower seam, adding a soft visual edge while forming the proposed protective interior contact surface. The result draws on the enduring appeal of shearling-trimmed leather, but its colour palette and graphic system are designed independently for Links Heritage.
Original golf-inspired decoration, not copied aviation imagery
On the Blade Cover, a round embroidered badge depicts a simple ivory golf flag crossing a petrol-navy crescent. The Mallet Cover uses a subtle pressed pattern of fairway contour lines, interrupted by a narrow cream leather inlay and a small antique-brass golf-ball stud. These are proprietary visual directions for Links Heritage: they replace the source product’s rotating propeller visual, circular RAF-colour logo, orange centre strip and aviation narrative with an original golf-specific design language.
The reference listing offers both Blade and Mallet formats and describes the source product as brown leather and shearling with a pilot-jacket influence, a Spitfire propeller pattern and an RAF-colour Circle F logo.[1] The Links Heritage concept retains only the general, functional idea of two soft leather-and-shearling putter-cover shapes. Its sea-glass colour, flag-and-crescent badge, contour-line pattern, cream inlay, brass ball stud, copy, dimensions and image gallery are original work.
Coordinated Blade + Mallet collection: Two individual cover shapes let buyers select the form appropriate to their putter profile. Soft single-cavity protection: Each cover is proposed with one uncluttered lined cavity rather than hard dividers or exterior storage. Leather with shearling trim: Sea-glass-blue leather and warm ivory shearling create a tactile fresh-retro finish. Blade-specific shape: A low horizontal form accommodates the rounded toe and heel-toe proportions of traditional blade putters. Compact Mallet-specific shape: A rounded rectangular profile is targeted toward compact mid-mallet designs, subject to sample fitting. Original visual details: Flag-and-crescent embroidery on Blade; fairway-contour embossing, cream inlay and brass ball stud on Mallet.
